Sizing
Highly recommended to have an assortment of sizes on stock.
1. If you have access to an assortment of Brim sizes.
A. Apply a Nord° Brim on the limb over the liner to ensure a snug fit and correct size.
Verification
Measurements should align. The rectified mold circumference should match the selected Brim circumference and not exceed it by more than 2–3 cm.
Measurement differences exceeding 2–3 cm may result in overstretching of the Brim during shaping, with risk of damage or rupture.
B. Ensure same measurement level on the plaster mold and the limb. Measure the limb from the distal end to the proximal-medial edge of the Nord° Brim. Transfer this distance to the mold and measure the circumference at the same level.
